The Vs. Verity Mod turns a normal Friday Night Funkin’ game into a scary battle against Verity. Initially the opponent seems harmless, like a yellow circle with a friendly smile. As the songs go on, Verity becomes scarier and scarier, and the pace of the match increases considerably.
How does the Verity Mod change?
Verity doesn’t stay in one form during the battle. Each stage has a different look, a different performing style, and a different tempo of music.
- Stage One: Verity is a yellow circle with a friendly face. The note layout is relatively sparse, allowing you to get a feel for the song.
- Second stage: Verity gets furious, and the note chart gets more intense. Rapid sequences of notes demand faster reflexes.
- Final Stage: Verity turns into a large, terrifying monster. Flashing lights, visual distortion, and jump-scare moments occur more frequently.
Three stages with different atmospheres
There are two major tracks in the mod: “3 Days” and “It’s Me, It’s Verity. The first part of the battle features a moderate tempo, combining single notes with sustained holds.
Then the next song. The tempo speeds up, and the notes become more crowded. As Verity shifts into its monstrous form, the visuals become chaotic, featuring various effects that can distract you from the gameplay.
