About Flip Spot
Flip Spot is a 3D skill game where players make high-altitude jumps and control the movement of their character in the air to land accurately on a target. The game doesn't require you to race along long tracks or navigate a barrage of simultaneous obstacles; instead, each attempt serves as a quick test of judgement and control.
One jump, many decisions
Standing on the launch platform, you must gauge the distance to the landing zone before you begin. Once the character leaps, holding the control button keeps the body spinning. You then have to decide whether to perform a simple flip or utilise the airtime to execute multiple rotations.
The challenge lies in the timing. Stop spinning too early, and the character might not complete the flip; hold it too long, and you risk an unstable landing.
Conquer each area in your own way
Not every launch platform offers the same experience. The lower platforms need fast reaction because you have very little time in the air but the higher you start the better chance you have trying more complicated spins.
Instead of trying to get a high score right away, use a turn to see how the character moves. It’s much easier to figure out the right number of rotations when you know how long you have before you hit the ground.
What makes Flip Spot fun?
- Intuitive Mechanics: Beginners can learn to jump and flip in no time.
- Timing challenge: The trick is to push and release the button at the exact moment.
- 3D Environment: Elevated platforms, ramps and landing zones provide you with an instant feeling of height with every jump.
- Fast retries: No waiting around on a bad landing. You can try again right away and change your tactics.

Tips for a Better Landing
Don’t just look at the number of turns you need. Watch where the character’s feet are pointing as he goes to the landing spot, if the feet aren’t pointing down you need to tweak. When your body is aligned, cut the rotation to avoid a botched landing.
A good training strategy is to start by jumping with fewer rotations. Once you get used to the timing of each phase of the jump you can gradually increase difficulty and try more daring moves.
Ready for the next jump?
Flip Spot makes little jumps a true test of precision. Judge the distance, control your rotation, and time your landing on your feet. A small change in your input can make the difference between a spectacular landing and a failed attempt. Once you’ve mastered the flips in Flip Spot, you can also try Turbo Flip for a faster challenge with high-speed cars, giant ramps, aerial stunts, and exciting landings.
