About NoomiClone

NoomiClone is a physics simulation game with a ragdoll character that can swing on bars, jump, spin and grab on to the next bar. There are no long storylines or chains of missions in the game; it focuses on the feel of the controls and precise timing.

How to Play NoomiClone

Swing on the Bar

First build up some momentum on the bar. Before you move to the next step, watch the swing’s direction and amplitude. Moderate swings make it easier to identify the right moment to let go.

Release Date

Once the character is in the desired position, release it to start an aerial spin. The idea is not to necessarily release at the high point but to get your body right for the next grab.

Bar Re-grab

Regrabbing is an important skill in NoomiClone. Then you release the bar and need to reposition your body so that your hands can grab the next point. Once you master regrabbing, you can string multiple movements together into longer sequences.

Spins to Try

When you get the swing and regrabbing down, add tucks, flips or twists to your routine. Practice each variation individually so you can easily identify the factors that lead to a successful or failed performance.

Game Modes & Zones

NoomiClone has different challenges depending on the version. The “Bar Park” section is about swinging, letting go and regrabbing between bars. In Tumbling Mode, you’ll focus on acrobatics on the ground, controlling your speed of rotation and preparing for your landing. The mobile version adds trampolines, ladders, spikes and maps that require high precision to the experience. Trampolines can serve as launch points to build momentum for more complex rotations.

And Slow Motion Turns

Mobile updates allow rotating in multiple directions while airborne. Twist speeds can be adjusted between Slow, Regular, and Fast, making it easier for newcomers to get the hang of the mechanic.

The slow-motion mode is also helpful for practising tough moves. You will be able to see exactly when the character drops the bar, how the body twists and why a catch was missed.

NoomiClone Tips

  • Start with small swings to maintain better control over your movement direction.
  • Identify your intended landing or catch spot before releasing the bar.
  • Master the "regrab" technique before incorporating flips and twists.
  • Change only one element at a time during practice, such as the release timing or tuck position.
  • Use slow motion to pinpoint the exact moment a catch fails.
  • When using a trampoline, stabilise your body after the bounce before initiating a rotation.

NoomiClone Controls

  • Left Arrow: Arch the body.
  • Space: Tuck the body.
  • Up Arrow: Release the bar.
  • Right Arrow: Straighten the body (in some versions).
  • R: Reset the level.

What Makes NoomiClone Fun?

  • Physics-based mechanics ensure every movement depends on momentum and body posture.
  • The bar system encourages players to chain together swings and regrabs.
  • Flips and twists add extra challenges once you are comfortable with the controls.
  • Mobile maps expand beyond bars to include trampolines and precision-based areas. Slow-motion and replay features allow players to review their performances.
  • The ragdoll system creates unexpected situations whenever the character loses their balance or misses a move.
